How to pick out a style of clothes that's right for your body type and income

Are you a female that just can't seem to be in the right style. Does everyone else around you seem to know more about fashion then you do. Are you feeling out-of-date? Here's some easy tips and tricks to help out you, your wardrobe, and your life.

Things You'll Need:

Budget

Magazines

Determination

Time

Step
1

First you need to WANT to change. After you got that down it's really simple afterwards. Set a budget. See what range of spending you can afford, which will help you choose which stores you should shop at. If you don't know go to the mall, walmart, outlets, and various other clothing stores to get a general feel of what the prices are for different articles of clothing.

Step
2

Next, get a few fashion magazines. If your younger try to go more for teen people and/or glamour. If your older go towards Vogue and People. Flip through the clothing section and the fashion ads. See which ones catch your attention. No matter what outfits are shown in the magazines they're ALL in style, match, and are easily attainable. SO first figure out which type you like. Most of the time there will be sections dedicated to Preppy, Rock, Goth, Sporty, etc.. See if any of those fit your taste. It should also give you some tips and prices of what stores carry the items listed.

Step
3

After you've figured out what style you are it's time to go shopping. Most stores typically sell all types of styles. it just depends on if you want to pay high dollar designer brand or not. But you generally get the same thing where-ever you go. If you are confused ask an associate or bring a friend. Compare prices and styles of different stores to get a general feel of which ones you like and don't like so you can shop there more frequently and save time in searching.

Step
4

You have to get measured to know what fits your body. Ask an associate to measure you or try trying on different sizes to get a good idea of your fit. Never try to go TOO tight or TOO baggy. Try to find that happy middle.

Step
5

Always be yourself. Don't try to go with the "popular" trend. See what's hip and try to spice it up to where it shows your true self and personality. Don't try to imitate the people you envy or anything because then you'll just end up miserable. If you're being yourself, the most beautiful you you can be, you'll always feel beautiful.
